An immaculate fleet of aircraft with new engines, new avionics, new paint and

new interiors! Our aircraft are subject to rigorous inspections under Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Parts 135 & 141.

A very well-stocked pilot shop, with more than 150 items and VFR & IFR FAA

charts for the eastern part of the U.S.A.

TEAM

Full-time flight instructors who have decades of combined flight experience and have completed all of the FAA standardized testing. Our ground school is taught in a classroom setting by experienced instructors and you can be assured of their professionalism and expertise.

FLIGHT ACADEMY

During  extended hours they operate 12 hours a day. Its full-time flight instructors are always available to accommodate your schedule. A one-on-one approach that gets results!A very well-stocked pilot shop, with more than 150 items and VFR & IFR FAA charts for the eastern part of the U.S.A. Computerized testing (CATS) on site, enabling you to take all FAA tests and receive instant results.  American Winds is an approved testing center and can administer an array of aviation tests. If an applicant chooses to seek additional licenses and ratings, the knowledge tests will range in both allotted time and question length.It features a Piper Seneca II, which is 60% more cost-effective than other standard charter aircraft.

AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE

Full-time staff of FAA-certified A&P aviation mechanics who take great pride in the upkeep, maintenance and safety of our fleet. American Winds also have an IA (Inspector Authorization) on staff to ensure the highest quality maintenance standards for its aircraft are met.
